Designing for speed

Our teams north star mission was to create a command menu system to instantly access resources within the Shopify admin. As a first attempt to this, we wanted to use apps as the first piece of resource that users could instantly get to.

The command menu system would begin to live as part of search and also accessible via CMD+K.
